Introduction to 2BV Water Ring Vacuum Pump

The SKA/2BV water ring vacuum pump is suitable for extracting gas and water vapor, with an intake pressure of up to 33 mbar absolute pressure (97% vacuum). When the vacuum pump operates for a long time at an intake pressure lower than 80 mbar, a cavitation protection pipe should be connected to protect the pump. If equipped with an atmosphere, the intake pressure can reach 10 mbar, and it can be directly installed on the vacuum pump. When used as a compressor, its maximum pressure is 0.26 MPa (absolute pressure). It can be widely used in petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food, sugar manufacturing and other industries. Since the gas compression process is isothermal during operation, there is no danger when compressing and extracting flammable and explosive gases, so its application is more extensive. With excellent performance and many advantages, it will comprehensively replace the SK and 2SK series water ring vacuum pumps and W, WY, WL series reciprocating vacuum pumps with the same performance.

II. Structure of 2BV Water Ring Vacuum Pump

The SKA/2BV water ring vacuum pump is composed of pump cover, pump body, disc, impeller, mechanical seal, motor and other parts. The intake and exhaust pipes are connected to the pump cavity through the intake and exhaust holes on the disc installed on the pump cover. The shaft is installed eccentrically in the pump body, and the impeller is fixed on the shaft with a flat key. The total clearance of both end faces of the pump is adjusted by the gasket between the pump body and the disc, and the clearance between the impeller and the disc on the pump cover is adjusted by the gasket between the disc and the pump body. The clearance between both end faces of the impeller and the disc on the pump cover determines the loss and its ultimate pressure during the flow of gas from the intake port to the exhaust port in the pump cavity. Mechanical seal is adopted, which is installed between the impeller and the pump body. The clearance between the impeller and the pump body is determined by the mechanical seal. A disc is installed on the pump cover, which is provided with intake and exhaust holes and flexible exhaust valve plates. The function of the flexible valve plates is that when the gas pressure between the impeller blades reaches the exhaust pressure, the gas is discharged before the exhaust port, which reduces the power consumption caused by excessive gas pressure and thus lowers the power consumption.
